INTERNATIONAL ARTIST KLARA CHAVARRÍA WORKING FROM PRIVATE STUDIO IN GENEVA, IL LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE!

Geneva, IL (January 30, 2007) – International artist Klara Chavarría, after a
successful art career in Cincinnati, has recently moved to the Chicago area with
her family to continue painting from her new private studio in the historic city
of Geneva, IL. Her artwork can be viewed at her newly launched website, www.klarachavarria.com, which features expandable images and the ability
to purchase paintings online.

A native of Guatemala, Klara cultivated an intense and enduring interest in art’s
capacity to carry and communicate human experience at an early age. Growing up in a family of artists, Klara began studying art when she was only eight years old.
Drawing from her rich international experiences, Klara’s paintings, by combining
lustrous color patterns with raw and expressive textures, transcend cultural boundaries as she continues exploring ways to elucidate spiritual and human experience through her art. According to Greg Storer, artist and teacher, “Her paintings dance, sing, laugh, cry, question, answer, and move.”

Klara’s paintings are in collections throughout the United States and abroad, including a public collection piece exhibited at the Museum of Science and Industry, which is currently on display at O’Hare International Airport, Terminal 3. Her conviction is that art ultimately serves the community, and is dedicated to sharing her art locally. Please visit Klara’s Online Gallery today to experience Geneva’s latest and brightest addition to its arts community.
